Angus & Julia Stone Release Self-Titled Album Mixed by Billy Bush

Angus & Julia Stone have reunited to release their third studio album (American/Republic) which was mixed by GPS client Billy Bush. The Australian brother-sister duo spent 6 months in Malibu with producer Rick Rubin making what The Guardian describes as “the best thing this band have ever done”.

“This album is extraordinary; Angus and Julia are truly unique musicians,” Rubin said in a statement. “They are authentic and pure people who do things from the heart. I’ve never worked with anyone like them before.”

The first single “Heart Beats Slow” debuted in the top 40 of the ARIA singles chart in June, and was followed by the music video release for “A Heartbreak” embedded below:
