Greg Fidelman is a Grammy award-winning record producer, engineer, mixer and songwriter known for his work with a wide variety of bands in the rock and metal genres including Metallica, Slayer, Black Sabbath, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Kid Rock, Marilyn Manson and Slipknot. Additional records include work with the likes of U2, Johnny Cash, Neil Diamond and others. Fidelman began his career as the guitarist and songwriter for Warner Brothers hard rock band Rhino Bucket, featured in the Wayne's World soundtrack before launching his career as a producer, engineer and mixer, finding an early mentor in Rick Rubin. Their notable projects together range from The Red Hot Chili Peppers to Johnny Cash, The Gossip, and Adele.
Fidelman's well-known productions include Slipknot's #1 Album .5 The Gray Chapter, Slayer's World Painted Blood (American), and Metallica & Lou Reed's Lulu (Warner Bros). As a mixer, Fidelman's work includes Red Hot Chili Peppers' I'm With You (Warner Brothers), Johnny Cash's Unearthed (American), Kid Rock's Born Free (Atlantic), Neil Diamond's 12 Songs (EMI), The Gossip's Music For Men (Columbia) and many more.
Recently Fidelman completed producing, engineering and mixing Metallica's #1 Album Hardwired...To Self-Destruct (Blackened) which received two 2018 Grammy nominations for 'Best Rock Album' and 'Best Rock Song'. He is currently working with Slipknot on their forthcoming album.
