American jazz and gospel singer Lizz Wright has released her sixth studio album titled “Grace”, out via Concord Records. The album was produced by Joe Henry, and mixed and engineered by GPS client Ryan Freeland. Wright grew up a minster’s daughter in Georgia, and “Grace” is an homage to her southern heritage. The Guardian calls it “a potent, sanctified album”, and the album has received critical praise from NPR, the New York Times, Jazz Times, All About Jazz and Billboard magazine.
