Carmen Rizzo is a two-time Grammy nominated producer, mixer, remixer, composer and recording artist known for his work with an eclectic array of artists including Seal, Coldplay, Paul Oakenfold, AR Rahman, Ryuichi Sakamoto, Pete Townshend, Huun Huur Tu, and Niyaz to name a few. His film composer credits include composing original music for Oscar winning director Michael Apted and Emmy winning director Stanley Brooks, as well as writing the end title for Sony Play Station’s Uncharted 2. A long time Recording Academy member, Carmen has served as a Trustee and Governor and wrote the category Best Electronic Album, and the Technical Grammys for Apple and Roger Linn (inventor of the drum machine). Rizzo has also lectured extensively and held Master Classes all over the world including his own TED X talk in the US. Carmen operates his own record label Electrofone Music, home to his own solo and collaborative music projects but also releases from Meriem Ben Amor, Valravn, Inbar Bakal and Huun Huur Tu among others.
