Noah Georgeson and Devendra Banhart Release ‘Refuge’

GPS client Noah Georgeson and longtime collaborator Devendra Banhart  have released a new album of strikingly beautiful instrumental compositions called Refuge.

The duo is featured in Brooklyn Vegan discussing their personal inspirations for the album. Bill Pearis calls it a “gorgeous album that is unlike any either have made before.”

Ryan Middletown of Magnetic Magazine shares of the album: “People may be itching to party again, but it is good to be reminded of what we have gone through and that there is still more to go. There is also a beauty to this record, like flowing tall grass in a large open field. The end of “Sky Burial” has a short spoken word section with a message that feels worth sharing with others, ‘May you be safe, may you be happy, may you healthy, may you live with ease.'”

If you are in LA area, the The Getty museum is hosting a free listening experience of Refuge this weekend (August 21/22) in the Central Garden.
