Congratulations to Christ Stapleton! His recording of “Tennessee Whiskey” is the first country song to ever achieve Double Diamond certification for 20 million units sold.

The song was engineered and mixed by GPS client Vance Powell.

“Stapleton’s take on “Tennessee Whiskey” never officially came out as a single or got a music video, but it took off after Stapleton and special guest Justin Timberlake performed a rousing version of the song at the 2015 CMA Awards. That performance went viral, and the song reached number 20 on the Hot 100.”

Since ‘Traveller, Vance has continued his work with Chris on all of his subsequent albums.
